Alicia Diane Ashley, born on August 9, 1968, passed away suddenly on November 16, 2025, at the age of 57. Alicia was a resident of Verbena, Alabama and was a graduate of Thompson High School, Class of 1986. She retired from Walmart after 20 years and was currently working with Adoration Hospice as a CNA. She was a fan of Auburn football and loved dogs, especially her three pitbulls.
Alicia was preceded in death by her father, David Holcombe; mother, Mary Holcombe; her husband, James "Jimbo" Church; her daughter, Ashley Church, and sister, Jennifer Hyde. She is survived by her husband, Oscar Ashley; son, Justin Holcombe (Margo); stepchildren, Stagg Lee, Jason Church and Christie Brooks; brothers, Bo Holcombe (Brandy) and Keith Holcombe (Kathy); and a host of nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo), 3715 Highway 25, Montevallo, AL 35115 on Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A graveside service will take place on Friday, November 21, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Still Cemetery, Hwy 119, Alabaster, AL 35007.
