Scott is survived by his mother Linda P. Ireland (Barney), sister Zinda Gentry (Chuck), Amanda Tucker, brother Charlie Tucker (Tracy), uncle Howard Pugh (Iris), aunt Patricia Wilson; 10 nieces and 9 nephews.
Being unmarried, Scott was able to pursue whatever interested him.
He found enjoyment selling ice cream to children during several summers while training for his great love cooking. He prepared a delicious meal for his sister's wedding reception. He expanded his cooking skills b working as a caterer before moving on to positions in restaurants.
Another of Scott's interest was computer programing and gaming. He len his skills to the family as an-on-call technician.
His health prevented him from pursuing a desire to get actively involved in organic gardening.
A celebration of life will be held at Rockco Funeral Home on June 18, 2026 from 2 pm to 4 pm.
