Bartie John Carlee, age 66, of Montevallo, died August 23, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Carlee and Clarice Pickett Carlee; and his brother, Lonnie Carlee of Montevallo. He is survived by his son, James Lee “Boogie” Carlee; siblings, James Carlee (Nancy) of Pea Ridge, Alabama, Calvin Carlee (Jenny) of Montevallo, Alabama, Jessie Carlee Adams (John) of Montevallo, Alabama, Connie Carlee Latham (Robert) of Dogwood, Alabama, Leroy Carlee (Tommie) of Centreville, Alabama and Michael Carlee (Leigh) of Montevallo, Alabama; nephews and nieces, Jennifer, Casey, Timmy, Joey, Robert, Loretta, Melissa, Ronnie, Angela, Shane, Jason, P.J., Stacy, Tina, Tracy and J.R.; and loving friend Diane Watts. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 26, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo). The funeral service will be Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Rockco, with burial to follow at Macedonia Cemetery. Bro. Dennis Draper will officiate.
