Mrs Bessie was one of the best of best !! Back in the early 70's she and Lee and a lot of us from Montevallo would go square dancing and enjoy each other. I hate that I didn't hear of her going home. I always tried to call her oh her birthday 11/14 .Bessie was always a kind and caring person. I know Peggy and Don and all her family are going to miss that sweet sounding voice and smile. God bless each and everyone of her family.

I have so many special memories of Aunt Bessie! She always made me smile and she loved to play games. I loved going to her house and playing when I was younger. We loved our family Christmas gatherings which she often hosted and we would have so much fun doing our white elephant gift exchange. Larry and I would visit her and Uncle Lee when we were in town and she would always insist on serving us some kind of dessert. She made everyone feel special and I treasure the times I spent with her! She is finally home and I'm sure she is dancing in heaven!

Miss Bessie was a wonderful lady. Miss Bessie was riding us (Peggy Sue and me) around and the windshield was getting road film on it from the rain. She stopped and bought a coke and poured it on the windshield. Instantly the film was gone!! So many more memories but I loved that lady and her entire family. Bless you all. So sorry for your loss.
