Ms. Betty Payne Hamrick

Betty Payne Hamrick, age 74, of Alabaster, Alabama, entered into rest August 1, 2014. She enjoyed traveling, Facebook, and being with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Eddie Payne; grandson, Kenny Lee Payne II; parents, William and Flossie Motes; and brothers, Perry Motes and Earl Motes. She is survived by her children, Kenny Payne (Terri), Sylvia Payne (Gail) and Shane Payne (Sherri); 7 grandchildren, Dawn Klein, Rachel Payne, Trace Chamblee, Rachel Burrough, Courtney Mullins, Robin Isabell (Chris) and Donna I. Collins (Chase); 15 great-grandchildren, Justin & Stetson Cupp, Skylar & Nolan Payne, Haley & Logan Guy, CJ & Carlee Raines, Casen Collins, Dakota Payne, Trey Smith, Andrea & Amery Payne, Hayden Fulton, and Joclyn George; sister, Bobbie Epperson; and special friends, Stacy Hines & family, Ashley Lee & family, Candi Payne & family, and Brenda.

Visitation will be held Monday, August 11, 2014 from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo). The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Pelham City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Justin Cupp, Jason Motes, John Threat, Jerry Lawley, Victor Vanderslice, Jr., and Butch Poole.
