She was preceded in death by her husband, Cambridge Donald Sims; daughter, Dorothy Jacks; son-in-law, Tracy Price; and two sisters, Faye Crumpton and Frances Randolph. She is survived by her son, Donald Wayne Jacks; daughters, Pamela Jean Jacks, Judy Darlene Price and Tammy Kay Shepherd; grandchildren, Justin Judon Price, James Jordan Price, Tiffany Akira Sysenkham and Kacey Amiko Haynes; sister, Carolyn Sue Elgin; and brother, Edward Terry.
Her visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 from 12:30PM to 2:00PM at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo). Her funeral service will begin at 2:00PM, with Ledon Miller to officiate. Burial will follow at Mars Hill Cemetery in Hoover.
