Bill Lang Sr.

Bill Lang Sr. age 74 of Chelsea, passed away on May 15, 2017 at UAB. Services for Mr. Lang will be Thursday May 18, 2017 at the Oak Mountain Independent Church with Rev. George Golden officiating and Rockcos Funeral Home (Montevallo) directing. Burial will follow at Oak Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Rockcos Funeral Home Montevallo on Wednesday May 17, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00pm.

Mr. Lang was preceded in death by his parents; Buford and Ida Lang and a brother; Arnold Lang.

He is survived by his two sons; Paul Lang and his wife Wendy, and Vince Lang and his wife Felicia. Two sisters; Jean Reynolds and Shirley Isbell, Two brothers; Hollis Lang and Jerry Lang and his wife Carol. Five grandchildren; Brittney Lang, Heather Lang, Haley Scorby and her husband Andrew, Chase Lang and Makayla Lang. One great grandchild; Logan Lang and a host of nieces and nephews.

Bill was a man that loved God and his family. He kept active by working in his garden, harvesting his crops and sharing with his family and friends.
