Clyde was born to Cynthia Pauline and Hershel Nix on May 31, 1940. The sixth of nine children.
Clyde is survived by his wife Donna Garrett Nix, the love of his life whom he married on June 13, 1959. He is also survived by four children, Belinda Epperson, Laura (Cliff) Storey, Edward (Leigh) Nix and Beverly (Anthony) Holman. They were also blessed with ten grandchildren, Shannon Isbell, Brian (Jennifer) Epperson, Tanya (Terry) Davis, Anthony (Erica) Freeland, Kayla(Tara) Nix, Ashley (Austin) Bearden, Christopher (John) Nix, Brittany Epperson, Amanda (Aaron) Toxey and AJ Holman. Twenty three great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
At the request of Mr. Nix there will be no service.
