Crystal A Cook, born on December 20, 1973 in Passaic, New Jersey, passed away on September 22, 2025, at the age of 51. A resident of Montevallo, Alabama, Crystal was known for her warm and welcoming nature, never meeting a stranger.
Crystal was a graduate of Ellenville High School in New York. She was an avid fan of Auburn football and the New York Giants, and she cherished her role as a devoted "MOMO" to her nephews.
Crystal was preceded in death by her father, William Cook; her stepfather, Robert Peterson; and her beloved pet, Gidget. She is survived by her mother, Laura Cook (Jimmy Cromer); her sister, Jaimmie Cook, and brother-in-law, Christopher Gregory; her nephews, T. J. Green (Jessica Albright) and Dylan Gibson; her uncles, Joey Smith (Laurie) and Ricky Pinter (Maria); her partner, Sue Hill; and her devoted pet, Puppers.
A celebration of Crystal's life will be held at her mother's home at a later date to be announced. Guests are invited to dress comfortably in her memory.
