Daniel Logan McNamee, age 25, of Calera, passed away in a car accident on February 5, 2018. He was a graduate of Calera High School, Class of 2011, and worked at McNamee Electric. He was a sweet, good-hearted person loved and cherished by so many.
Logan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Marion and Robert McNamee, and Phyllis Jones; and uncles, John McNamee. He is survived by his parents, Marla Hopkins (Todd) and Danny McNamee; sister, Sarah McLendon (Kevin); nephew, Christian McLendon; nieces, Blakely and Layla McLendon; grandparents, Sue Jones and Will Edward Jones; uncle, Rob McNamee (Donna) and Will Jones; aunt, Carolyn Harris; and many cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Calera Baptist Church. His funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Calera Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, his family requests memorials be made to the Shelby County Humane Society.
