David Matthew Abrams

David Matthew Abrams, age 55, of Alabaster, Alabama passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2025. David graduated from Chilton County High School and earned his Associate's in Business Administration from Wallace Community College. He spent his career as a Quality Control Analyst for several companies over the years. His most recent job was at the Publix Distribution Center. David was an avid Alabama fan and animal lover. Most of all, he loved being a Paw Paw and he will be terribly missed.

David was preceded in death by his grandparents, Millard P. Abrams & Mary Louise Abrams of Talladega and Richard P. Coker and Lois Rachel Bunt Coker of Talladega; father-in-law, Max Burch; mother-in-law, Maxine Burch; sister, Stacey Cyress Abrams; uncles, Dickey Coker and Scott Coker; and his aunt, Betty Abrams. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Shannon Abrams; parents, Millard and Linda Abrams of Clanton, AL daughters, McKenzie Kerth (Mason) of Alabaster, Savannah Davis (Jacob) of Clanton and Baylee Abrams (Daniel) of Alabaster; grandchildren, Keaton, Collin, Aeson, Raelyn, Luna, Cree, Braxten, Ella, and Millie; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral service will occur Thursday, July 10, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo), 3715 Highway 25, Montevallo, AL 35115, with visitation to begin at 1:00 PM. He will be laid to rest at Montevallo City Cemetery. Bro. Eddy Lockhart will officiate. Casual attire is requested in David's memory.
