Don H. Wade, age 85, of Helena, Alabama passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2025. One of his favorite passions was airplanes, and flying remote controlled airplanes. He loved working with his hands, he was a true handyman at everything.
He is survived by his daughter, Connie Jackson (Rich) of Tallassee, AL; sons, Donald David Wade of Centreville, AL and Ronald Wayne Wade (Jeanette) of Helena, AL; daughter-in-law, Cathy Wade of Helena, AL; six grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Don was preceded in death by his loving wife, Edna.
A committal service for Don will be held Monday, September 29, 2025 at 10:15 AM at Alabama National Cemetery, 3133 Highway 119, Montevallo, AL 35115.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Cedar Grove Holiness Church, Maylene, AL.
