

Donald Joseph Dupont, a beloved and devoted individual, passed away on October 2, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on January 5, 1946, Donald was a resident of Vincent, Alabama. He was known for being hard-working, patient, loyal, thoughtful, kind-hearted, cherished, and brave.
Donald spent his early years in Sterling and Stoneham, Colorado, where he attended school. He dedicated 25 years of his life to the Navy, serving as a navigator, computer programmer, and radar technician on air flights. His service took him to Japan, Antarctica, Vietnam, and many other places.
On August 21, 1971, Donald married his wife Leona in Sterling, Colorado. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerome Cornelius Dupont and Emma Anna Cnockaert Dupont, who were farmers in Stoneham, Colorado, as well as his late wife Addie Dupont. He is survived by his daughter Michelle Bryant; his grandchildren Anna Dupont and James Dupont(Hannah) and his step-children Bridgett Earlywine, Brenda Brown, and Steven Gartner. His great-grandchildren Noah, Arsinoe, Karanna, Jackson and Katanna. He also leaves behind multiple nieces and nephews. Donald was predeceased by his brothers John Dupont, James L. Dupont, and Earnest (Ernie) Dupont, and his sisters Martha Mary Dupont Martin and Margaret Dupont Shoenburg.
In his personal life, Donald loved reading books and was a fan of Alabama football. His thoughtful and kind-hearted nature will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
