He attended Thompson High School and following his school years he was in the Alabama Army National Guard as a radiology technician. He was a retired Mill Wright at Southern Cement.
Edgar is survived by his daughter, Renda Marlaine Vick (Timothy James Carr); son, Timothy Edgar Vick; grandchildren, Jessica, Dylan (Erin), and Evan Vick; one great grandson, Mason Jackson Vick and a host of nieces, friends and neighbors.
He is preceded in death by his mom, dad and brother.
A visitation for Edgar will be held Saturday, April 25, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Rockco Funeral Home, 3715 Highway 25, Montevallo, Alabama 35115. A funeral service will occur Saturday, April 25, 2020 at 12:00 PM. A burial will occur Saturday, April 25, 2020 at Montevallo City Cemetery, Highway 73, Montevallo, Alabama. Brother Shannon Allen will be officiating.
