Elizabeth was married to the love of her life, Michael, for four decades, and her devotion to her family was evident in the life she built as an amazing mother and grandmother. She will be remembered with deep affection for the steady care she gave so freely, and for the warmth and love that made others feel truly cherished. In the moments that mattered most, she carried herself with a calm, unmistakable coolness paired with a spirited, awesome presence that could brighten a room.
Her interests reflected both creativity and joy. She loved metal music, painting, and being goofy, embracing life with a lightness that brought comfort to those around her. Above all, she loved her grandsons, and she also dearly loved her dog, Tootsie.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Jarvis; her son, Dewayne Jarvis; her mother, Shirley Lawley; and her grandmother, Meedie.
She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Jarvis; her son, Shane Jarvis; her grandsons, Nathaniel and Nicholas; and her brother, Bennie Hatcher (JR).
