Elmer Clinton Edwards, age 72, of Montevallo, Alabama passed away on November 14, 2017. Elmer loved God and his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Ola Edwards; his brothers, Marshall and Randy Edwards; his sister, Shirley Anderson, and his grandson, Isaac Johnson. Elmer is survived by his wife, Edna Smith Edwards; his daughters, Jenny McCoy of Montevallo, Jan (Michael) Dye of Montevallo, Karen (Danny) Johnson of Wilton and his son, Jay (Tricia) Edwards of Clanton. He is also survived by his brothers, Don Edwards of Clanton and Henry Edwards of Brierfield; sisters, Dottie Lawrence of Billingsley and Kitty Miller of Clanton; 12 grand children and 2 great grand children and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. There will be a visitation for Elmer on Friday, November 17, 2017 at the Community Baptist Church in Brierfield from 1 – 2 pm. His funeral service will be at 2 pm with burial to follow in Community Baptist Church Cemetery. Services to be officiated by Rev. Robert Lovelady.
