

Ember "Noodle" Renee Southard, age 6 months, of Centreville, Alabama passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025 from a tragic accident. Everybody loved Noodle with her little scrunchy smile and her happy squeals. She had a mischievous spirit, and loved her pacifier. She had wild hair and gorgeous eyes. In her short life, Noodle had a tremendous impact and will be missed forever.
She was preceded in death by her uncle, Blake McGaughy. She is survived by her parents, Anna "Bella" Southard and Jessie Brooks; brother, Taylor "Tater" Brooks; grandmother, Jessica McGaughy; special aunt, Faithe McGaughy; grandfather, David Brooks; Grandma, Katherine Southard-Reece and Grandpa, Jeff Reece; Nanny, Renee Hosmer and Pepaw, Mike Hosmer; Bege, Susan Hamilton-Barnett and Pege, Jeremy Barnett; great-great-granny, Shirley Southard; uncles, Dakota Brooks and Noah Hosmer (Abby); aunts, Leah Bishop and Crystal Jones (Ben); great-aunt, Linda "Nona" Bishop, special cousins, Joselyn Hosmer, Deacon Hosmer, Cassidy Heinrich-Tims (Hunter), Bellamy Tims, Zoey Grady; and numerous other family members and loved ones.
Her celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo), with visitation to begin at 10:00 AM. She will be laid to rest at Sandy Chapel Cemetery in Centreville, Alabama. Rebecca Hosmer will officiate. Guests are encouraged to wear pink or yellow in memory of Princess Noodle.
