Estelle Lucas Blackmon, age 84, of Montevallo, passed away September 10, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Blackmon; and brothers, Leroy Lucas, Sr., James H. Lucas, Earl E. Lucas and Evander “Bud” Lucas; sister-in-law, Frances Lucas; and brother-in-law, Edward E. Stephens. She is survived by one brother, Glenn Lucas (Lois); sisters, Dorothy L. Stephens and Faye Cecil (Farrel); sisters-in-law, Lynn Lucas and Mary Ann Lucas; and numerous nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo), with visitation to begin at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Montevallo City Cemetery and Dr. Terry Sutton will officiate.
