Frances Dianne Harris, born April 5, 1952, passed on October 9, 2026, at the age of 74, and was a resident of Russellville, Alabama. Dianne was born in Wetumpka, Alabama, one of seven children to Burton and Helen Harris. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandma. She and her husband traveled the world together and after retirement, they were able to visit nearly all of our wonderful country from coast to coast.
She has no doubt been reunited with some of her family including her parents, two brothers, Billie Harris and Johnnie Harris; and a sister, Brenda Mosley. Dianne is with her Lord and the angels. Dianne is survived by her devoted husband of 56 years, Cecil Harris; children, Jason Harris (Gina) and Jennifer Snyder (Hunter); grandchildren, Haley Harris, Jillian Snyder and Logan Snyder; siblings, Mary Jane Timms (Bob), Jimmie Harris (Anita) and Marie Lincoln (Chris); sisters-in-law, Ronnie Harris and Lynn Harris; brother-in-law, John Mosley; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
The world will be a lesser place without her and her family is so thankful for her patience, love and companionship.
A Celebration of Life will take place at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo), 3715 Highway 25, Montevallo, AL 35115, on Monday, October 19, 2026 at 12:30 pm, with visitation to begin at 11:30 am.
A Committal Service will follow at Alabama National Cemetery, 3133 Hwy 119, Montevallo, AL 35115 at 2:00 pm.
