Throughout her life, Freda carried herself with a steady devotion to what mattered most. Her faith was a guiding light, reflected in her love for the Lord and in the time she spent reading the Bible. In both ordinary days and life’s hardest seasons, she met the world with honesty, resilience, and a compassionate heart that made room for others.
Freda was married to her loving husband, Charles Hamaker, for a span of four decades. Together they built a life rooted in commitment and care one marked by the kind of devotion that endures in memory and example.
She is survived by her son, Adam Hamaker, and a host of nieces and nephews. Freda loved all children, and that tenderness remained a defining thread in her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Doris Kromer; her husband, Charles Hamaker; her sister, Kitty Buckley; her brother, Fred Kromer Jr.; her twin sons, John and Jacob; and her daughter, Angel Lynn.
In quieter moments, Freda found joy in simple, meaningful pleasures: music, baking biscuits, and the small treasures discovered at thrift stores and yard sales. She also dearly loved her cats companions that brought comfort and warmth to her home.
Freda will be remembered with deep respect and gratitude for a life lived faithfully, for love given freely, and for the enduring strength and compassion she shared with those around her.
