Mr. Seagle was a wonderful band director at Sulligent. I was pleasantly surprised to encounter him in a Birmingham Music Store when we were buying our older son’s trumpet years later. He touched many lives and I know he is with Jesus now.❤️ I bet he is making joyful music with former friends and angels🎼

I was a band student of his many years ago in Sulligent, AL. and grew up in First Baptist Church there. What a talented and professional man Mr. Jim was! I always had great respect for him. I enjoyed music, and he made such an impression on my learning early in life! My heart-felt condolences to the family.

I was so saddened to learn of the passing of Jim. So many fond memories of us growing up on Pea Ridge and attending Mayberry Baptist Church together for several years.
My sympathy to Evelyn, Zoe, Scott, and Amy.

I am sad to know that my classmate and friend has passed on to his heavenly home. Jimmy was a talented musician, band director, and church music leader. He was a member of our Montevallo High School class of 1959, and he participated and helped with all our reunions. I am so thankful that I got to spend some time with him this summer at his home, helping with some small projects. He was loved, respected, and I will miss him. May God bless his soul and continue to watch over his precious wife, Evelyn.
