Janell was a huge part of my life growing up. I met her when I joined the brand new local Girl Scout troop (#76) at age 6. She saw me through my childhood and into adulthood, helping me along the way with her endless patience. She always had advice for me, whether I was willing to listen or not. Such a wonderful lady who will be deeply missed, love you Janell. We will meet again one day.

For 16 years we served Girl Scouts in Troop 76 in Montevallo. She loved the Scouts so much that her blood ran green! She was an inspiration to all the Girls in the troops we had and she was a true Scout living the Girl Scout promise and laws. And she was always prepared for the most untimely things: a lost button, toilet tissue emergency, Savannah Trip snacks! She is now teaching the Angels in Heaven how to be prepared to fly without falling!
