Jason Scott Lucas, age 39, of Montevallo, Alabama passed away on Monday, August 4, 2025. Jason was a graduate of Montevallo High School before becoming a mechanic. He enjoyed his work at Jason Automotive in Alabaster. Jason was a jolly prankster, and was known for his shenanigans. He loved his family deeply and he was the best friend you could have. He loved his children and was so proud of them.
Jason is survived by his children, Paul, Katherine, James and Jacob Lucas; his father, Thomas Lucas; his mother, Teresa Shaw (Bryan); brother, Joshua Lucas; sisters, Jessica Sherrow (Robert), Rachel Singleton, Hannah Shaw and Abigail Shaw; numerous nieces and nephews; good friends, Jason Blackmon and Johnny Felton. He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Janice Lucas; and uncles, Fred Lucas and Jerry Lucas.
