Jennifer Melia Hand, age 45, of Columbiana, passed away January 10, 2017. She was a member of Camp Branch United Methodist Church. Melia was preceded in death by her mother, Peggy Moore; stepdad, Jerrell Moore; grandfather, Elijah Hand; and grandfather, Howard Snyder. She is survived by her father James M. Hand of Columbiana; stepmom, Susan Hand; grandmothers, Kate Hand and Willie Mae Snyder; sisters, Kim Doss (Jimmy) of Columbiana and Jamie Wagner (Eric) of Alabaster; nieces; nephews; cousins; aunts; uncles; and her cat, Perka. The family wishes to thank the nurses, doctors and staff at Chandler Health & Rehab and New Beacon Hospice. A Celebration of her Life will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 12:00 PM at Camp Branch United Methodist Church. Rev. Don Smith and Rev. Wayne Bullard will officiate.
