Jessica "Jess" Dawn Newman

Jessica "Jess" Dawn Warren Newman, age 42, of Montevallo, Alabama passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 4, 2025. Jess was born in Somerset, Kentucky and graduated from Jemison High School, Class of 2000. Within a week of graduation, she became the bride of her sweetheart, Larry. Her greatest joy in life was becoming Kylen's mommy in 2019. Jess had the most fun riding side-by-sides with Larry, riding go-carts as a family, or relaxing at the beach. She was dedicated to her family, and always made special trips to see her family back in Kentucky.

She was known as the glue holding everyone together, and her top priority was always her family.

Jess was preceded in death by her grandparents, June Hall, Clyde Hall, Clementine Warren and James Warren. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Larry Newman; son, Kylen Newman; parents, Johnny and Gladys Warren; siblings, Shenoah Miller, Chris Miller (Jenna), and Kristen Amell; brother-in-law, Jerry Bell; and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Jess will be held Friday, April 11, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo), 3715 Highway 25, Montevallo, AL 35115.
