Joe Bryant Edwards, age 82, of Montgomery, Alabama passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2023. Originally of Wetumpka, Alabama, Joe was a veteran of the US Army and graduate of Auburn University. He retired from the VA Regional Office.
Joe was a dedicated family man, and will be terribly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Martha; son and daughter-in-law, Micah and Hannah Edwards; daughter, Jane Edwards; granddaughter, Mia Edwards; brother- and sister-in-law, Donald and Vicki Edwards; sister, Sherry Edwards; sister-in-law, Bonnie Edwards; and son, Jay DeVaughn.
A graveside service for Joe will be held Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Alabama National Cemetery, 3133 Highway 119, Montevallo, Alabama 35115.
