John "Dale" Creel

John loved spending afternoons cooking on the grill, playing cards with his family and floating down the river. He enjoyed his mules and westerns.

John is survived by his wife, Rebecca Creel; siblings, Tina (Steve) Creel-Glosson, Glenn Creel, and Mandy (Andrew) Richards; nieces and nephews, Kathy Smitherman, Corey Smitherman, Gabriel Richards, and Matthew Richards; children, Daina (Josh) Smith, John (Michaela) Creel and Ella Huffman; and grandchildren, Wade Smith and Savannah Smith.

He is preceded in death by his parents and grandmother.

A visitation for John will be held Wednesday, July 7, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Rockco Funeral Home, 3715 Highway 25, Montevallo, Alabama 35115. A funeral will occur Thursday, July 8, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Rockco Funeral Home in Montevallo, 3715 Highway 25, Montevallo, Alabama 35115. A burial will occur Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Ashby Cemetery, Brierfield, al 35035.
