John Bruce Reynolds

John Bruce Reynolds, age 69, of Centreville, Alabama passed away at UAB Hospital on Friday, June 13, 2025. Bruce graduated from Tuscaloosa County High and was retired from Warrior Tractor in Northport, Alabama where he worked for 40 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and grilling. His greatest accomplishment was being the best husband, father and Poppy anyone could ever ask for. He was an active member of New Life Baptist Church where he faithfully served.

Bruce was preceded in death by his father, William Alfred Reynolds; and brother-in-law, Gary Hinton. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Peggy Reynolds; mother, Mary Nell Reynolds; daughters, Stephani Ouimette (Kevin) and Kollete Lauters; sons, Jeremy Tucker and Jason Tucker; grandchildren, Kaitlin Lauters, Tyler Lauters(Jamie), Cameron Bailey, Kaine Thornton(Chelsea), Erin Propst(Brooks), Trenton Bailey, Morgan Tucker, Kason Tucker, Mason Ouimette, Maddison Ouimette, Madison Tucker, Landen Ouimette, Blakely Tucker and Mia Tucker; special grandchildren, Lacie & Holly Ouimette; great-grandchildren, Daniel Lauters, Laney, Emery & Parker Billingsley, Ellie Nguyen, Olivia & Elizabeth Lincoln, and Jesse Propst; brother, Richard Reynolds (Terry); sister, Rhonda Hinton; several nieces and nephews; and faithful canine companion, Lily.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to the nurses, doctors and respiratory therapists in the MICU at UAB Hospital for their skilled and compassionate care.

A Celebration of Bruce's Life will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 2:00 PM at New Life Baptist Church, 694 Dry Hollow Rd. E, Centreville, AL 35042, with visitation to begin at 1:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorial donations be directed to the Building Fund at New Life Baptist Church.
