Johnny Jones Jr.

Johnny Jones Jr. Age 73, of Montevallo, went to be with the Lord on November 24th, 2017. Preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Carol Minor Jones; sister, Barbara Jones Wells. Survived by his loving wife, Pamela Johnson Jones; daughter, Lori (Edward) Blair; granddaughter, Faith “Sunshine” Blair; siblings, Mildred (Paul) Jones, Sandra and Jan (Sammy) Shoemaker. Johnny was born to Johnnie D. and Gladys Jones in Montevallo, Alabama. He served in the Army in the late 1960’s and went on to be a millwright for Westinghouse and ABEX. Johnny’s first love in his life was for God’s word. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, taking care of his yard, gardening and woodworking. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 26th at Rockco Funeral Home from 4pm - 7pm. Service will be Monday, November 27th at 11am with a visitation one hour prior also at Rockco Funeral Home at 3715 Highway 25 S in Montevallo, AL 35115.
