Kathy Bice Poe, a cherished and kind-hearted soul, passed away on October 7, 2025, at the age of 71. Born on September 19, 1954, Kathy was a resident of Jemison, Alabama. Her faithful and selfless nature touched the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Kathy is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, Roy Poe. Her family was the center of her world, and she leaves behind her son, Kevin Poe, and his wife, Misty. She was a proud grandmother to Lance (McKinley) and Brianna Poe. Kathy's legacy continues through her great grandsons, Briggs and Bryce, who brought her immense joy.
In her personal life, Kathy found great joy in traveling with her husband and family. She was thoughtful and cherished the moments spent on trips, creating memories that her family will hold dear. Her love for her family was unparalleled, and she treasured them above all else.
Kathy Bice Poe's memory will be forever held in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know her.
A graveside service will be held at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery at 11:00 am on Friday
