

Laurence "Larry" Allen Clark, born on March 4, 1940, in Batavia, New York, passed away on October 18, 2025, at the age of 85. Laurence was a hard-working, honest, devoted, loyal, wise, and adventurous individual who touched the lives of many with his vibrant personality and dedication.
Larry was the beloved son of Everett Clark and Frances Levins Jones. He graduated from Batavia High School and went on to serve in the Air Force for four years. Following his military service, Larry retired from the Rochester Products Division of General Motors in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
For 59 years, Larry was married to his loving wife, Ann. He was a good father and husband, enjoying family camping trips throughout the state of Alabama. Larry had a passion for flying radio-controlled model airplanes, riding his Honda motorcycles, and reading mystery books. He was also an enthusiastic NASCAR fan and enjoyed watching old TV series such as "The Andy Griffith Show," "Leave It to Beaver," and "Bewitched." Alongside Ann, Larry traveled across the United States in their motorhome and was a member of the Family Campers and RVers (FCRV) and the Happy Campers Camping Club. He worked as a staff member with his wife, Ann, at multiple campgrounds, including Jekyll Island and Montrose, Colorado. Larry cherished his energetic Shih Tzu, Joey, for 13 years.
Larry was known for his talkative nature and his extensive knowledge about cars. He enjoyed listening to old country musicians, including George Jones and Hank Williams, and was a devoted fan of Diet Coke.
Larry is survived by his wife, Ann Radder Clark; his daughter, Karyn Clark Buffington (Frank) of Statesville, North Carolina, and his granddaughter, Emily Buffington; including his nieces, nephews and cousins. Larry was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Michael Clark.
Expressions of gratitude are extended to Park Manor Nursing Home and Hospice of West Alabama in Tuscaloosa for their care and support.
Larry's legacy of devotion, wisdom, and adventurous spirit will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
A visitation will be held at Rockco Funeral Home in Montevallo, Alabama, on October 25, 2025, at 11:00 am, followed by a memorial service.
