Lawrence Neal Oldham

Lawrence Neal Oldham, age 30, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away on Monday, July 5, 2021. Lawrence was born August 22, 1990 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Daniel "Ray" Oldham and Chan Ok Kwon. He was raised in Calera, Alabama along with one brother. After graduating from Calera High School in 2008 Lawrence joined the Navy where he served as a Nuclear Propulsionist. Lawrence was an UAB alumni and was enjoying his career as an engineer with Torch Technologies in Huntsville, Alabama. Lawrence loved the simple pleasures of life such as the outdoors. He liked taking hikes, riding his motorcycle, and trying new things. He was reserved in a crowd, but enjoyed small groups and had a great sense of humor. He was loved by his friends, family, and coworkers.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his parents, Ray and Chan Oldham; brother, Ray Oldham ; sister-in-law, Clarissa Oldham; nephew, Grayson Oldham, as well as his brothers and sisters in arms and a host of friends.

Visitation for Lawrence will be held Friday, July 16, 2021 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at Rockco Funeral Home in Montevallo, Alabama followed by a 12:00 pm funeral service. Lawrence will be laid to rest at Alabama National Cemetery with a private committal service to be held for family.
