Mary Frances "Mitzi" Hall

Mary Frances Elizabeth “Mitzi” Hall, of Randolph, was 78 years old at the time of her death. She went home to heaven on December 28, 2015. Mom was at home and died of natural causes. Mitzi was born on November 28, 1937. Her father was Web Nicholas Lanier and her mother was Netty Frances Elizabeth Morrison. She had 2 brothers, both deceased, Bill and George Lanier, as well as two sisters, Jean Shack and Jackie Williams. She married Harold Jimmy Hall, Sr. on February 1, 1953. She is survived by Jimmy Hall, Jerry Hall, Connie Kemp, Billy Hall, Terry Hall, Allen Hall and Taffy Busby. Two of her children are deceased, Shelia Riviera and Pam Loyd. She was grandmother to 23 grandchildren including two grandsons that went before her, Jason & Scott Hall. She was a great-grandmother to 26 great-grandchildren. To let you know who she was, this is what she always said: She was a sinner saved by Jesus Christ our Lord and she lived her life as close to God as she could. Her hope and prayers were for her family. She would ask God to open all of our hearts to His love and accept Christ as Savior. Mother had a gentle spirit. She would like to wish each one of you the blessing of knowing God and His Son. May you accept the only Way to heaven accepting and claiming Jesus as Savior. Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 2:00PM at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo), with visitation to begin at 1:00PM. Pastor Scott Fowler will officiate and burial will be at Shady Grove Cemetery in Randolph.
