Mary Frances Hannah, age 77, of Calera, Alabama, went home to be with the Lord on February 24, 2020. She was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church, where she was an enthusiastic member of the choir. She was an avid Alabama football fan and loved her family, whether cooking for them or spending hours on the porch together. She was fun to be around and never met a stranger.
Mary Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Lueary Mae Cannady; son, Norman Lynn Brackin; granddaughter, Kayla LeeAnn Brackin; and brothers, Howard Cannady, Jr. and Jimmy Cannady. She is survived by her sons, Tommy Joe Brackin (Gina), Wayne Brackin (Cindy) and Allen Hannah; grandchildren, Ginger Soloman, Sheenah Hill (Billy), Stormi Collum (Curtis), Courtney Strickland (Kyle), Thomas E. Brackin and Joseph Brackin; nine great-grandchildren; brother, John Cannady; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and her fur-babies, Samantha and Cookie.
Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at 2:30 PM at Rock Springs Baptist Church in Calera. Visitation will begin at 1:30 PM. Pastor Roger Willis and Rev. Robert Gibson will officiate, and burial will be at Rock Springs Cemetery.
