Matthew was a strong, brave, determined young man with a heart of gold. He was truly an angel on earth. He touched the lives of everyone who knew him. Matthew loved spending time with his brothers and riding dirt bikes with them. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors. He liked his Ford trucks and Alabama football.
He truly loved music and art. He would express himself by drawing or playing his guitar that he learned to play by ear on his own. He loved his friends and family!
He was preceded in death by his uncle, Barry Pointer; aunts, Cindy Fulton and Danna Reynolds; close family friend, Travis "Pops" Todd; and his beloved dog, Gracie, that went with him to heaven.
Matthew is survived by his parents, Danielle Harrison and Andrew McGuire; siblings, Luke Harrison, James Harrison and Levi McGuire; grandparents, Becky and Roger Willis, Howard Harrison, John and Glenda McGuire, and Elaine and Michael Raner; and great-grandparents, Geraldine Anders and Jack McGuire; uncles, Aaron McGuire (Brittany) and Terry Turner (Jeana); aunt, Tommi Kay Pointer; and numerous cousins.
A visitation for Matthew will be held Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Rockco Funeral Home, 3715 Highway 25, Montevallo, Alabama 35115, followed by a celebration of life at 2:00 PM. In honor of Matthew, the family asks that you come as he would: boots, jeans, t-shirts, camo.
