Mrs. Baldwin was a force for kindness. She always had a smile for those around her. Her love of life was obvious. I shopped with Mrs. Baldwin at her Shade Tree Market, and I always enjoyed her company. Peggy and I were classmates, and I also went to THS with Jerry. To you and all of your family please know that your precious mother was loved by her friends, and she will be missed by her community.

I had the honor of knowing Millard (she laughed when I called her Millard, she told me her husband called her this) from the Alabaster Senior Center and the Homemakers Club. She was a hoot. She loved singing and visiting with her friends. This dear lady will be truly missed. RIP Ms. Baldwin aka Millard...

Peggy & family I am so sorry for the loss of your sweet mother. I just got the news and hate I wasn’t in town to come. What a life she had. I still remember sitting in her kitchen and on the porch at her house on 119. I think of her every time I drive down that road. My mom thought the world of her too. Such fond memories of a wonderful woman. Praying for your family.
I love you!
