I loved Aunt Snooks my entire life. I will never forget spending a week with her and Uncle George, or enjoying her cooking on Third Sundays.

Not just my aunt on Mama's side, but also Daddy's first cousin, Aunt Snooks was named for my beloved grandmother (her Aunt Mildred), and looked so much like her. Maybe that's part of why she was always so special to me.

I love you and will miss you. Give Uncle George, my grandmothers, and Mama and Daddy a hug for me in Heaven.
