

Naveline Blair Fletcher, age 71, of Brierfield, Alabama, passed away at home with her family on May 7, 2020. She was born to Clyde and Gladys Mae Blair in Wyandotte, Michigan, one of six children. The family moved to California, then to Alabama, where she graduated from West Blocton High School. Naveline was a member of Six Mile Baptist Church and worked at the University of Montevallo. She kept an immaculate home, fed her family well and loved to work in the yard. She was a good Nana to her grandchildren - very loving, caring and considerate.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Pridmore and Frankie Fletcher; and brothers, Carl Spears, Denver Spears and Fred Spears. She is survived by her children, Linette Tuma (AJ), Jeanette Pridmore and Ginger Pridmore; step-son, Ben Fletcher (Heather); eight grandchildren; brother, Clyde Blair (Gloria); sister, Geraldine Stewart (Roger); numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and her feline family, Checkers and Miss Priss.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 11, 2020 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo). A private burial will be held at Alabama National Cemetery. The family requests any memorial donations be directed to American Cancer Society.
