"Jug" as I always knew him as until I was grown was always there to help anyone in need. He was always interested in what was happening around him and letting people know of things they might be interested in too. He was a hard worker and helped out lots of people in Fungo Hollow. He has cut many yards of grass, plowed many acres of fields, fixed many lawnmowers & weedeaters and always ready with advice. I will miss waving at him on his porch as I passed by. He has been a friend to me and my family for over 50 years and we will miss his smiling face! I'm glad he is not suffering any more and is with his Lord. See you later Friend!

Oh so many memories!
What a wonderful friend he was to us.
Nick has been there for us when we’d stop by to pass the time. He’s been to our home many times to fix whatever was broken. I (Pam) have been behind my washing machine while he taught me how to fix it when he couldn’t get behind it. Showed me how to take apart my dishwasher and the stove and ice maker. Always so patient and kind. The man was a genius when it came to fixing things. He was a good friend and we’ll miss this dear man.

Nick was one of the kindest individuals that I had the pleasure of knowing. He always took time with my children showing such patience. He worked with my husband Houston teaching so very much about many things. Prayers for all of you.

Was sad to hear about Nick. If we couldn’t fix something dad would say, call Nick he can tell us how to fix it. He will be missed by many!
