August 16, 1950September 10, 2020

Patricia Majors Jacks, born August 16, 1950 in Bessemer, Alabama, left this world behind on September 10, 2020 in Alabaster, Alabama. She resided in Clanton, Alabama.

She is survived by son, Chris (Angela) Jacks; daughter, Dana (Robert) Webb; Grandchildren, CJ, Callie, Hailey, Christopher, Sammy and Liam; all of her grandkids with fur; brothers, J.T. (Ann) Majors, Wayne (Barbara) Majors; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and her very extended family she adopted in her seventy years.

She is preceded in death by her beloved soulmate and best friend of 43 years her husband Reverend John V. Jacks; parents, William Reecie and Elvee Majors; grandparents John and Addie Majors; grandparents Tivis and Mary Rasco; and sister, Carolyn Holsomback.

To know Pat was to love her. She was loud, talkative and unpredictable. Her passion was caring for others, and she achieved that throughout her nursing career and serving as a pastor's wife for 38 years. She cherished her family, loved her church, and all the people in it. She was passionate, opinionated and devoted to all she cared for. She will be greatly missed. Her white diamonds perfume not so much.

Visitation will be held for Patricia Jacks on Thursday September 17, 2020 at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo) from 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm. A funeral service will occur at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo) at 4:00 pm immediately followed by a committal service at Ryan Cemetery in Montevallo, Alabama.
