Peggy Woods Gould

June 19, 1960December 25, 2020

Peggy Sue Woods Gould, age 60, of Columbiana, Alabama, passed away on December 25, 2020.

Peggy had a huge heart and would give the shirt off her back to anyone. She was the best mom to Angela, Emily, and numerous foster children over the years. She was dedicated to her family and stayed close to her siblings throughout their lives. She loved to cook, finding four-leafed clovers, and picking blackberries and honeysuckles on her nature walks. She loved her pets, Harley and Killer. Her best memories were of Sunday dinners at her mama's house. She was a Baptist lady and only quit going to church to take care of her sick husband and then herself.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Randolph, with a graveside service to follow at Shady Grove Cemetery. The family requests any memorial donations be directed to Summer Hill Baptist Church, 17997 Hwy 25, Columbiana, AL 35051.

Peggy Gould was one of the sweetest, best friends i could have ever asked for in my life. We become best of friends when she and my first wife, Tina Atkins worked together at Hardees in Columbiana and I would go hangout with her and and the many kids she would keep for other working women whenever they needed a sitter. She loved kids and we would play and laugh like there wasn't a worry in the world. She would do for others before doing for herself. She would never let a child go without if she had any say so. I will surely miss her laughter and always smiling face. No better friend i could ever have ask for.
R.I.P. dear friend love and peace forever your friend, Leroy Martin. You always believed in me. 😪😪
