Mike was born December 27, 1953 in Helena, Alabama to Oliver and Loraine Parks along with four siblings. Mike is preceded in death by his parents Oliver Parks and Loraine Blake Parks; and siblings, Shirley Ann Golden, Tina Cranford, and Franklin Parks.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Carol Parks; brother, Jimmy Parks; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

My thoughts and prayers are with you Carol. I know how much you loved Mike, and how much he loved you. I didn't know him very well, but he was always very sweet to me and I enjoyed talking to him during our short visits. He was always happy and chatting and full of zest. I know you will miss him, and know that you will have an angel watching over you. If you need anything, you know how to get in touch with me. Prayers and Love,

Jessica
