Sheila Brown Barrow

and Bessemer State Technical College Class of 1980 with an Associate Degree in Computer Science. She was a founding member of Wilton Bible Baptist Church and spearheaded the Wilton Homeschool Co-op. She was a passionate travel agent specializing in ADA-accessible travel, and was also a Mary Kay consultant. She dedicated her life to her church, to homeschooling her children, spoiling her grandbabies, and loving her husband.

Sheila was preceded in death by her father, James Robert Brown, Jr. and grandmother, Mildred “Memaw” McClung. She is survived by her mother, Mary Ann Mcclung Brown; her husband of 42 years, Jeff Barrow; children, Joshua Barrow (Heather) and Marissa Wilson (Nathan); grandchildren, Ava, Colton, Caroline & Charlotte Wilson and Mackenzie Barrow; brothers, James “Jim” Brown and Richard Brown (Lisa); a plethora of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews as well as many cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held at Wilton Bible Baptist Church, 293 Stephens St, Wilton, AL 35187, on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will take place at Wilton Bible Baptist Church on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 11:00 am. A private committal will follow.
