Shirley Jean Abel age 77 of Montevallo, Alabama passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2014. She was preceded in death by her father, Clifton Richards; sister, Barbara Hendrickson; Step-mother, Geraldine Richards.
Shirley is survived by her loving husband Tom Abel; son, Scott Abel (Sandra); brother, Gerold Richards; grandson, Brandyn Scott Abel; nephews, Alan K. Hendrickson and Ronald Hendrickson; niece, Wanda Butts.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel (Montevallo).
