Steven Joe Mills

Steve is preceded in death by his father, Clyde Mills, mother, Bobbie Mills.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Barbara Mills; two daughters, Shelby Parden and Reagan Mills, son-in-love Kyle Parden; his beloved granddaughter, Lucella Parden; brothers, David Mills (Kathy), Robert Mills (Carmen) and Michael Mills (Emily); sisters, Linda Ashcroft (Elton) and Kathy Bullock (Jay), and numerous nieces and nephews.

Steve truly lived. He was surrounded at all times by laughter and love. Steve was known for how selfless he was during his interactions with family or strangers. Even though not bonded through blood, his family was constantly growing through the relationships he created in life. Steve often spoke of his spiritual journey with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Steve was known for being a home repair man and there was no job too small. But don’t step on his grass! He always available to lend a listening ear and offer comforting advice. Steve enjoyed music. He played guitar with his youngest daughter, Reagan, and would often brag of her talent. Steve was a jack-of-all-trades. He was an extremely protective father, a hardworker, and would do anything in his power to help others.
