Tammy lived life the way many only dream of—free-spirited, vibrant, and full of joy. She had a deep love for nature and animals, and she found happiness in the simple, beautiful moments life had to offer. Whether she was surrounded by friends and family or out enjoying the world around her, Tammy was always living young, wild, and free.
She had the most beautiful smile and striking blue eyes that could light up any room. Her energy was contagious, her laughter unforgettable, and her presence made every gathering brighter. Tammy loved deeply, gave freely, and embraced life with an open heart.
Tammy also had a creative soul. She was incredibly artistic and was always finding something new to create—expressing herself in ways that were as vibrant and unique as she was. Her creativity was just another reflection of the beauty she carried inside.
To her family, she was everything.
She was preceded in death by her father, Comillious “Bunco” Moore; her husband, Howard Shepherd; and her grandmother, Sarah Emma Sims.
She is survived by her mother, Janice Moore; her brother, Anthony Moore (Michelle); her daughters, Brandi Sankey (TJ) and Heather Sorensen (Trever); her son, Steven Johns (Dana); and her six beautiful grandchildren, Ava, Westley, Wyitt, Ember, Waverli & Emersyn, who will carry her love and spirit forward.
She was a devoted mother and a proud Mimi, roles she cherished with all her heart. The love she poured into her children and grandchildren will continue to live on through them.
From Heather:
"My mother was my heart. Even though we didn't get to see each other much in these last few years, my love for her never changed. I adored her deeply. I believed in her, I listened to her, I had faith in her, and most of all, I loved her with everything in me. We knew how to find joy together. No matter what, we would do anything just to laugh, to have fun, and to make memories. That part of us will always stay with me."
Tammy’s spirit—full of love, adventure, creativity, and joy—will never be forgotten. She leaves behind a lifetime of memories that will be treasured by all who knew and loved her.
