Toni J. Collins, age 71 of Hastings died Saturday, November 22, 2014, following a brief battle with cancer. Toni was born December 4, 1942 in Calera Alabama to Wilford and Jessie Lee (Broadhead) Horton. She was a retired bank manager for Norwest Bank in Hastings. An active Hastings community and church member, Toni was a former Hastings Women’s Club member who held several local and regional offices. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, first husband J. W. Stephens and son Michael Collins. Toni is survived by her husband David Collins; daughter Nelda (partner Astride) Stephens, son Jim (Julie) Stephens, son Dana (Cindy) Collins, stepson Dan (Leah) Collins, stepdaughter Connie (Robert) Williams; grandsons Noah, Nicholas, Brian, Timothy, Collin, Grant, Michael; great grandson Maddox; extended family Norma Loftin, Tim and Lynn Loftin, Tracy and Paul Bush, Connor Bush. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in Providence #1 Baptist Church Cemetery in Montevallo, Alabama.
