Turner, William Lee, age 79, of Jemison, AL, passed away April 26, 2014. He served as a paratrooper in the 121st Division of the US Army during the Korean War. He attended Providence Baptist Church in Montevallo, AL. He enjoyed camping and fishing, and watching Fox news and Alabama football. He was preceded in death by his parents, Houston and Pearl Turner. He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Elizabeth Yarber Turner; daughters, Susan Elaine Turner of Jemison, Sarah Ann Page of Montevallo, and Autumn Lee Turner of Jemison; and grandchildren, William Nicholas Page, Tristan Joseph Page and Kayla Jade Page; and son-in-law, Bradley Page.

A committal service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 2, 2014 at Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo. In lieu of flowers, any donations may be made to the Turner Family Fund at Providence Baptist Church. Services are under the direction of Rockco Funeral Home, Montevallo. .
