Lee had a true servant’s heart, devoting himself to the Lord, his family, and his country. As a young man, Lee enlisted in the Navy, serving several years. After serving in the Navy, he joined the 232nd Air National Guard full time and retired as Master Sergeant. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren on Lake Martin. He was a man of many talents and never found a project he couldn’t tackle. Lee never met a stranger, telling stories of Navy days and his faith in Christ all the while making people feel good just being around him. Lee was passionate about his relationship with the Lord and he was dedicated to sharing the Gospel with others whether it was in Sunday School, Vacation Bible School or being in Passion Play or sharing testimonies at Faith Rescue Mission. He was compassionate about children, especially his grandchildren, telling them how much he loved them and living life as an example to them.
Services for Lee will be Friday, June 22, 2018 at Leak Memory Chapel at 11 AM with a visitation at 10 AM. Burial will take place following the service at Greenwood Cemetery.
