Allen Jerome McGehee

Mr. Allen Jerome McGehee, 79, of Lowndesboro, Alabama passed away on Monday, February 26, 2018 at Noland Hospital. He is preceded in death by his wife: Shirley McGehee and his parents: J.O. McGehee and Gela S. Keiger. He is also preceded in death by his step-father: Miles Keiger. He is survived by his son: Allen B. McGehee and a daughter: Christy Goolsby. He is also survived by five grandchildren: Joshua Cooper, Courtney Cooper, Hunter McGehee, Dakota McGehee, and Tristan McGehee; two great-grandchildren: Karter Armstrong and Paizlee Cooper. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, March 2, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of White-Chapel Greenwood Funeral Home located at 909 Lincoln Rd. Montgomery, AL 36109 with a visitation one hour prior to service. Burial will follow the Celebration of Life Service at Alabama Heritage Cemetery located at 10505 Atlanta Hwy, Montgomery, Al. 36117. Pastor Andy Hepburn will be officiating. Active pallbearers will be Tristan McGehee, Dakota McGehee, Hunter McGehee, Chuck Whitman and Joshua Cooper. Mr. McGehee lived most of his adult life in middle Tennessee where he retired from the Nissan Plant in Smyrna, TN. He loved fast cars, show cars and show trucks. He moved back to Alabama from Tennessee in 2015. He loved all artist in the country music industry.
